Paula Fletcher has served Ward 30 residents for many years, first as a leader in the East End Parent Network, as Public School Trustee, and since 2003 as City Councillor for Ward 30 Toronto-Danforth. Paula has worked consistently with residents, business owners and community agencies to build strong, healthy neighbourhoods, to protect public services and to ensure Ward 30 is a leader in environmental initiatives.
Ms. Fletcher has served many capacities in her role as City Councillor. She is the Vice-Chair of the Toronto and East York Community Council which is responsible for local planning and neighbourhood issues; a member of the Economic Development Committee which monitors and makes recommendations to strengthen Toronto’s economy and investment climate and the Toronto Board of Health which sets public health policy and advises City Council on a broad range of health issues.
