Dear friends,
The 5 ½ month hearing at the Ontario Municipal Board (OMB) for the ‘Big Box’ application for Eastern Ave has now concluded. A decision is expected in December.
Many residents have asked what happened at the OMB and what will happen next. Brendan O’Callaghan, the City’s lawyer who led the case at the OMB, will give an update to the community on the hearing and an overview of possible outcomes.
The City of Toronto, as well as the East Toronto Community Coalition (ETCC) presented a strong case for good jobs, healthy communities and good planning.
